One brand, one creator
HIS HISTORY
In 1988, Vannina decided to join the Esmod school. Her end-of-studies project appealed to both the ready-to-wear and lingerie professional jury. A precursor project to its Dessous-Dessus concept. A meeting with a buyer from Takashimaya – a legendary New York concept store – changes the destiny of Vannina Vesperini, she places her first order based on a simple sketch.
In 1996, Vannina decided to take the plunge and found Maison Vannina Vesperini.
A daring bet since his collection based on small couture pleats met with real success, allowing him to be noticed by Bergdorf Goodman and Neimann Marcus. It thus begins its rise across the world.
Seek inspiration through a look, an attitude, an encounter... This is the credo of Vannina Vesperini who also and above all creates for the well-being of women.
HIS INSPIRATION
Vannina Vesperini draws her inspiration from life, from women, from cinema, from great couturiers. A collection for her is above all a story to tell, it is questions and answers, but it is also materials and colors. The materials and colors speak for it and have their own meaning. The choice to wear this or that color is not due to chance. And the material, silk, a living fiber, also tells a story, and exchanges treasures of sensation with the skin that inspire it greatly.
ITS CONCEPT, THE BELOW ABOVE
"Le Dessous-Dessus, the art of displaying your lingerie, of transcending it. A unique way of dressing combining chic and sensuality, elegance and refinement, style and femininity."
A bit of a rebel, Vannina Vesperini broke the rules during her adolescence and subverted the lingerie she created by wearing it as real daywear. Wear a silk top bordering on lingerie over pants or a skirt with a pair of pumps, a look she easily adopts during her night outs! She thus imposes her own style, a style that goes against the grain of her time. The immutable idea that lingerie is real clothing never leaves her. Thanks to her end-of-study project at Esmod, she is bringing her concept to life at the border of lingerie and ready-to-wear. The success she met confirmed her idea: she subsequently decided to dress women in an elegant and modern way, tops could be worn both above and below or slips became evening dresses, thus giving birth to the Below-Above .
THE Below-Above is not just a concept, it is a philosophy. Its products confer the power of reincarnation into a heroine with irresistible charms.
HIS PASSION FOR COLORS
Passionate about colors, Vannina Vesperini regularly organizes “Silk Confidence” workshops based on the strength and meaning of colors.

THE ICONIC TOP
The Vannina Vesperini top is the symbol of the Dessous-Dessus concept. It can be worn with boxers underneath or above with pants, a skirt under a jacket or a large V-neck sweater. It's a feminine and sensual touch on a silhouette. The stretch silk and lace top naturally stands out as an iconic top thanks to its perfect proportions. It quickly became a bestseller thanks to its original color combinations. Its variation in 16 different combinations of silk and lace colors each season makes it a fashionable piece.
Thanks to the numerous press publications, and its identifiable graphics, it is recognizable and gives ideas for looks to easily wear it on top. Many personalities have adopted it, such as Julia Roberts who reveals the fine lace and jagged neckline of our iconic top under her printed dress or even Eva Herzigova who wears it layered for a modern and sensual look.
